Lawrence Lessig

I don’t know if you’ve heard of Lawrence Lessig yet, but he’s a Professor of Law at Stanford Law School and, quite frankly, probably the highest profile litigator in the cause of the “people” these days, amidst the storm of DMCA, RIAA, MPAA, and other terrifying acronyms. As you’ve no doubt heard, the US Supreme Court upheld the Sonny Bono Copyright Term Extension Act as constitutional in Eldred v. Ashcroft. At any rate, he’s got an opinion piece at the Economist that might be worth a look to ya.
